Southeast Community Church Worship Ministry exists to get people to a life changing encounter with the one true and living God through the tool of music and to teach them to live a life of worship. Through passionate and heartfelt praise and worship, we strive to praise the Lord Jesus with our whole hearts and to give Him the glory He is due as we encourage the body of believers with songs from the scriptures. As the psalmist says, “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together!” Psalm 34:3
The SECC Worship Ministry offers various avenues for those who have a heart to worship through song. Twice a year, Easter and Christmas seasons, the SECC Worship Choir participates in Sunday morning worship services with exciting energy and passion to praise the Lord through song each week!
Also, the SECC Kid’s Choir is an amazing group of kids from the ages K-5th grade who love praising the Lord and learning to live for Him as they become worship leaders themselves.
The goal of the SECC Worship Ministry is as Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

Technology:
Through technology, the responsibility of the production team is to support the church in audio/visual display, to enhance the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ and to glorify God alone.

Technology and Sound
Working with the worship team is a little more than singing and playing music…it’s technology too! We are always looking to train new volunteers to help us with media, technology, lighting, and sound. About Julie Mayerlen, Praise and Worship Leader
Julie Mayerlen has been the Worship Leader at Southeast Community Church since 2012. She and her husband Corey have 6 beautiful children together. Her love for Jesus and serving Him through music has been her passion since she was called into full time Christian ministry at the age of 16. Born in Cleveland, TN, as a pastor’s kid (PK), she grew up singing in the church with her family from the early age of 8. She attended Florida Baptist College for music and then married her high school sweetheart. Julie and Corey moved to Camden county after God called them to SECC. They soon fell in love with the people and community. They live right here in Kingsland with their children, Gabriel, Benjamin, Millie, Emma Grace, Samuel, Maggie, and dog Rosie.
