Help. Hope. Healing.
Since 1975, many churches of different denominational backgrounds have come together to provide a Christian lay- person care giving ministry process known as Stephen Ministry.
Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one caring ministry that trains and equips Stephen Ministers to provide quality Christian lay care to people facing a variety of personal crises. Some of the situations in which Stephen Ministers provide care include the loss of a loved one, divorce, terminal illness, sudden death, loneliness, unemployment, hospitalization, a spiritual crisis and the birth of a child.
Southeast Community Church is blessed to have a team of trained Stephen Ministers who offer warmth, care and blessing to hurting people. We pray with and pray for our care receivers. We listen to them. We are committed to standing in their gap with them, pointing them to Jesus Christ, His Love and His Healing Grace for as long as it takes.
