Ministries of the Church
Dear SECC Family,
I would like to share with you an amazing opportunity for Discipleship right here at SECC. Our Children’s Ministries (Waumba Land and Upstreet) have openings for those desiring to share the Gospel. Just think about it, by sharing of your time and talents, you will:
- Allow for others to hear the message and get connected at SECC
- Touch the heart of a child, opening their eyes to the saving Grace of Jesus Christ
- Grow deeper in your walk with the Lord and understanding of His calling for us to be Disciples.
In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul shares that we as believers are all part of the “Body of Christ” and that, “… our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it.”
So let me encourage you today, don’t wait until you feel the time is right, take advantage of this opportunity that God has placed before you. Prayerfully seek God and ask Him to put you where He desires and Disciple.
Contact Dawn Taylor, Waumba Land Coordinator, at (912) 674-3644 or Kerry Rathgeber, Upstreet Coordinator, at (912) 729-8480 for more information.

|The drama team has been performing at SECC for the last 15 years and enjoys being connected to the people, the way we are.
Our Objective as a drama ministry is, to develop a drama that will help the listener relate to the message in a visual way, and to help the audience understand the very important need for a relationship with God.
If you are interested in becoming a part of our team please contact, Connie Carroll at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the church office at 912.729.8480.
|Back Packs for Kids is a mission of the church to support school-age children in need by sending food home over the weekends to children that have been identified as at risk for hunger in the home. Over 100 back packs are sent home every Friday to ensure that no child is going hungry. Individual wrapped snacks like crackers, granola bars, juice boxes, pop tarts, low calorie snack packs and other non-refrigerated snacks are needed. Juice boxes are always in high demand.
Bring your donations to the church and drop off at the Welcome Desk in the Lobby of the church or contact Dawn for more information.

|Care Net offers a network of more than 1,100 pregnancy centers offer hope to women facing unplanned pregnancies by providing practical help and emotional support.
Free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, abortion information, parenting classes, and material assistance are just some of the many services offered that empower women to choose life. As an umbrella organization, Care Net seeks to promote, prepare, and plant pregnancy centers across North America.
The ultimate aim of Care Net and its network of pregnancy centers is to share the love and truth of Jesus Christ in both word and deed. As a result, the hearts of women and men are being changed by Christ’s love.
In addition, those struggling with past abortions are finding God’s healing and forgiveness.
Our church supports two missionaries outside of the United States. We look forward to providing updates on their missionary work and the lives they are touching by sharing the word of God.
